A test slot is one day. You pick up the gear at our shop at Verovškova 60a in Ljubljana and return it after your session the same or the next day, as agreed.

How testing works
From sign-up to riding in four steps.
1. Pick the gear
Tell us which kite or board you want to try — or describe your style and we will suggest one.
2. Book a slot
Submit a request with your preferred date. We confirm the slot and watch the wind forecast together with you.
3. We prepare the gear
We set up the kite, bar and board for your weight and the conditions. Pick-up at the shop at Verovškova 60a.
4. Try it and decide
After the session we talk about how it felt and help you choose the right size and model.

Longer rentals add up by weeks and days — 8 days of the Harlem Thrive set is €375 + €60 = €435. No deposit, payment on pick-up. For regular renters the annual subscription is the best value: €450 for 15 days per year.
Frequently asked questions about testing
An ID and basic kiteboarding skills — launching the kite on your own and riding upwind. Bring your wetsuit and harness; we prepare the kite, bar and board. If you are just starting out, we would rather recommend a course and help you find a school.

We choose the size together based on the wind forecast and your weight. At 12–18 knots, the most forgiving size for an average rider is usually 9 or 10 m². That is exactly why testing helps — on the water you quickly feel the difference between sizes.

Yes. We offer kite gear rental for a day or a whole week — kite with bar from €45/day, board €20/day, full set from €60/day. For regular renters the best deal is the annual subscription (€450 for 15 days per year).
