Leashes
The leash is the safety link between you and the kite — when the safety system fires it keeps the kite with you, depowered. Besides kite leashes we also stock board and pump leashes.
When to replace a leash
A leash is a consumable. Replace it as soon as you notice worn stitching, cracks on the quick-release part, or after it has fired under heavy load.
Short or long
A shorter leash gets in the way less during tricks, while a longer one (with an elastic section) softens the jolt on release. Special models exist for unhooked riding.
Check the whole safety chain
A leash only makes sense if the quick release on the bar and harness work too. Inspect both regularly.
