The first number is the neoprene thickness on the torso, the second on arms and legs, in millimetres. So 3/2 means 3 mm on the body and 2 mm on the limbs. A thicker torso keeps you warm; thinner limbs keep you moving.
Janga
Wetsuits for kitesurfing and the water
Janga makes wetsuits you notice — colourful cuts that do not look like everyone else's, while still keeping you warm when it matters. We carry the women's Allstars, Jangle, Dark Half and XZIP ranges, and the men's Indigent and Fineline.
Thickness is written as two numbers: the first is the thickness on the torso, the second on arms and legs — 2 mm for summer, 3/2 for spring and autumn, 4/3 for colder water.

- Allstars — women's range; full 3/2 mm suits for spring and autumn plus short cuts (higuercut, hotpants) for warmer days.
- Jangle — women's full 3/2 mm, same use as Allstars with a different graphic.
- Dark Half — women's full 4/3 mm, for genuinely cold water.
- XZIP — a women's short 2 mm for summer.
- Fineline — the value summer range; men's 2 mm and women's 3 mm versions.
- Indigent — men's full 2/2 mm, also with short sleeves.
Frequently asked questions about Janga wetsuits
The shoulder seasons call for full 3/2 mm suits — the women's Allstars and Jangle ranges. When the water gets colder there is Dark Half 4/3 mm.
In summer most people go for 2 mm: XZIP or the Fineline range, and men often the Indigent 2/2 mm. Short cuts (hotpants, higuercut) protect against sun and harness rub but do not keep you warm — in wind a thin full suit is often more comfortable.
A wetsuit should fit snugly, without folds or pockets where water collects — but it must not restrict breathing. Cuts differ between brands, so write to us with your height and weight and we will tell you which size is right; size charts are also on every product page.
