Neoprene footwear

Neoprene shoes and booties protect from cold water, sharp shells and rocky bottoms. In many Adriatic spots they are mandatory equipment, not a luxury.

When you need boots

• Cold water — feet get cold fastest and ruin the session most.
• Rocky, shell or urchin-covered bottoms — walk in and out without cuts.
• Riding straps with boots — you need a thinner model so the foot still fits the strap.

Thickness

3 mm for spring and autumn, 5 mm and more for winter. For riding, pick a model with a thinner sole to keep board feel.
