Handles
Kiteboard handles
The handle is a small piece of gear with two jobs: carrying the board to the water and giving you something to grab mid-jump. Being exposed, it wears out or snaps in time — a replacement is cheap.
What to watch for
Manufacturers engineer their boards around their own handles. Using a different handle shape may limit your warranty, and “Big Air” handles can permanently damage the board, so most brands exclude them from warranty.
