A wetsuit is the difference between a session and cold misery. We stock Janga and RRD wetsuits — from 2 mm summer shorties to 5/4/3 mm winter suits, in men\u0027s and women\u0027s cuts.
A chest zip seals better and lets in less water; a back zip is easier to put on. For long winter sessions we recommend chest zip.
A wetsuit must fit like a second skin — a loose suit lets water in and does not warm, whatever its thickness. We are happy to advise on sizing.
Rinse with fresh water after every use and dry in the shade on a wide hanger. Never dry in the sun or on a radiator — the neoprene loses its stretch.
For cold days also see neoprene footwear, ear protection and a changing poncho.

For the northern Adriatic, roughly: July and August 2 mm or lycra; May, June and September 3/2 mm; April and October 4/3 mm. The first number is the thickness on the torso, the second on arms and legs.

Snug, with no folds at the lower back or behind the knees, but never restricting your breathing. A wetsuit warms a thin layer of water that has to stay put — an oversized one will leave you cold however thick it is. Between two sizes, take the smaller.
A chest zip seals better and lets in less water, but is more of a fight to get into. A back zip is easier to put on and common on more affordable models. For cold days the chest zip is worth the effort.
Rinse it in fresh water after every session and dry it in the shade, inside out, on a wide hanger — not a thin one, which stretches the shoulders. Never dry it in the sun or on a radiator: heat stiffens neoprene, and stiff neoprene no longer keeps you warm.
