Alongside its new features, the RRD Global Bar Y30 is still fitted with special lines called "RIGID THREAD LINES" (lines that do not stretch). They have been used successfully and exclusively on RRD bars for more than 13 years. It is a product now widely proven around the world, yet kiters still know little about the details of its uniqueness. A professional kiter will choose our lines over any others on the market. They simply DO NOT STRETCH!!! All our lines are developed and produced in Italy, under a worldwide patent granted exclusively to RRD. Rigid Thread Lines are the result of a collaboration with an Italian manufacturer with over fifty years of experience in processing cords and ropes, using the latest innovative exotic fibres combined with deep knowledge of the physical and mechanical properties of Dyneema.

What is new?

  • The PU tube protecting the power rope was enlarged to 12 mm for greater durability and smoother movement.

  • The chicken loop was completely redesigned for safer, simpler handling.
